As Christians across the globe marked Easter, Kenyan leaders delivered messages filled with hope, unity, and calls for reflection, urging the nation to embrace the spirit of renewal and forgiveness.
President William Ruto encouraged Kenyans to find strength in the symbolism of the resurrection.
“May this Easter bring you renewed hope and joy, just as the resurrection of Jesus Christ brought new life to the world,” he said.
Opposition leader Raila Odinga echoed the theme of upliftment in his message, calling on the country to find courage amid difficult times.
“May the resurrection joy lift us from weakness and despair to strength and hope,” said Odinga.
